Batmaid.com is the leading platform for home cleaning in Switzerland and Luxembourg. We offer the easiest way to hire a trusted, insured and declared professional cleaning agent in a few clicks.

We are currently focused on the B2C market in Switzerland and Luxembourg and are growing rapidly. We will soon be expanding our platform to B2B clients and later plan to digitalize other services such as hiring handymen, babysitters and the like.

For too long, many home cleaners have been forced to work in the substandard conditions of the black market. They aren’t insured and they aren’t declared. Our mission is to modernize and legitimize the home cleaning industry, so that in turn, we can change the way the world perceives cleaning agents.

On the client's side, we work to offer unparalleled customer support and aim to provide the best possible experience with regards to the user-friendliness of our website, reliability and quality of our services.

Your mission

As Finance Manager you will join the Finance & Accounting team in Lausanne. Given the particularity of the Batmaid business model, the job is full of challenges and requires both rigour and innovation. The position is full of responsibilities and will encompass the following tasks:

  • Manage, together with the Head of Administration, all aspects of our accounting including the coordination with our fiduciary, PWC and other external partners.
  • Proactively evaluate, recommend and implement improvements in our bookkeeping process.
  • Manage salaries and expenses for more than 60 employees internally and more than 2,000 maids using various software including the Batmaid platform.
  • Maintain and develop our KPI database.
  • Support our CFO with the reporting to all levels of our organization.
  • Manage the invoicing to actual and future international commercial partners.
  • Support top management in setting up and executing a potential M&A strategy.

Your weapons

  • 5 years or more in M&A, Audit or Controlling.
  • Master in Business or Finance. CFA a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, VBA. Other analytical tools a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English. Good German skills desired.
  • Teamwork. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Accuracy. Detail-oriented.
  • Perform well under pressure. Proactive.
